Shell will be organising a three day road show over the 29-31 July weekend at Sunway Pyramid that will serve as a teaser for the Shell Ferrari World contest theme that promises the ‘fastest 48 hours’ you would ever experience as well as an all-expenses paid trip to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi worth over RM15,000.
Visitors will be able to pit their driving skills against each other in the Time Attack Challenge, sponsored by Shell Helix and Shell V-Power, and be in the running to take home prizes that include a 46-inch LCD television set and PlayStation 3 accessories.
Looking at Shell’s impressive and longstanding partnership with Ferrari, visitors can expect a plethora of Prancing Horse memorabilia and accessories to be on display. The official Ferrari distributor in the country, Naza Italia, will be bringing out a Ferrari California for display. There will also be a Scuderia Ferrari helmet worth RM20,000 and a Formula One racing suit autographed by none other than Felipe Massa himself.
The Shell Helix Ferrari World contest consists of two tiers and is currently ongoing until 31 August. To participate, you simply need to purchase a four liter pack of Shell Helix Ultra synthetic or Shell Helix HX7 synthetic motor oil.
The first tier, customers are required to count the number of Shell Helix Ultra packs on the entry form and submit it at selected Shell stations, authorised workshops or by mail with proof of purchase. From that, 15 lucky finalists will be selected to take part in the Shell Helix Challenge at Berjaya Times Square on 8 October. A total of four lucky winners will be chosen from there and will fly to Abu Dhabi in November for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and a visit to Ferrari World.
At Ferrari world, the winners will be treated to a VIP trip that includes time behind the wheel of the Formula One and Gran Turismo simulators, a ride on the world’s fastest rollercoaster at speeds up to 240km/h and travel through the heart of a V12 engine.
“Last year, Shell Helix rewarded four lucky winners with a trip to the Ferrari headquarters in Maranello, Italy and this year another four will win a VIP trip to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi.
